Second letter to the Corinthians 9:1

As for the aid to the saints [the believers in Jerusalem], I really don't need to write to you.
[Literally, the sentence begins with "to begin with," which ties this verse to the previous one. Paul now explains why he boasted to other churches about the love and generosity of the Corinthians, see 2 Cor. 8:24.]
