Deuturonomy 3:11

For only Og, king of Bashan, remained of the remnant of the Rephaim [Gen. 14:5]. Yes [see, note – this is remarkable], his bed was a bed of iron. Is it not in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon [the present city of Amman in Jordan, as a museum piece]? [The size of the bed was also spectacular:] Its length was 9 cubits [4.1 meters] and its width was 4 cubits [1.8 meters], according to a man's cubit.
[Iron was unusual at this time during the late Bronze Age. This, together with the size of the bed, was the reason it attracted attention. The measurement of a cubit (Hebr. ammah) derives from the length of a man's forearm; the distance between the elbow and the middle finger – about 45 cm. There is also a longer royal cubit, which is 52 cm, but since it explicitly says "a man's cubit" here, it is the shorter cubit that is referred to here.]
