Hebrews 7:5


Those of Levi's sons (descendants) who become priests have a commandment according to the law [Gk. nomos – Torah, the Books of Moses] to receive tithes from the people [Num. 18:21–32],
that is, from their brothers [Jewish compatriots],
even though they are also descended from Abraham.
