James 2:8

If you fulfill the royal (foremost) law [teaching] as expressed in Scripture:
"You shall love [selflessly and generously] your neighbor (your fellow man)
as [you love] yourself."
[Lev. 19:18; Matt. 22:37–40. This commandment summarizes the teaching of the Books of Moses and the Prophets. It is called "royal" mainly because it is based on the king Jesus.]
