Joshua 2:4

But the woman took the two men—and hid (Hebr. tsafan) him [singular—the people of Israel].
[The Hebrew text has "hid him" in the singular. This may be an allusion to how Moses was hidden by his mother Jochebed, see Ex. 2:2. The next verse also contains a reference to how the Hebrew midwives (Shifra and Pua) concealed the truth from Pharaoh, see Ex. 1:15–22. Rahab similarly becomes a "midwife" for the Israelites before their "birth" as a separate nation in the land of Canaan.]
