Revelation 20:9

They spread out over the whole earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city [Jerusalem]. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them.
[Just as the battle in chapter 19 was not a great battle, the battle is over in an instant. Fire from heaven also has the meaning of confirming the words of prophecy, see 2 Kings 1:10–12; Ezekiel 38:22.]
