Judges 10:2

And he judged Israel twenty-three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
[The hill country of Ephraim stretched from Bethel, north of Jerusalem, up to the plain of Jezreel. Shamir may refer to the region of Samaria's capital, which is also called Samaria.]
