Judges 16:23

And the princes of the Philistines [probably the five Philistine princes from Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod on the Mediterranean coast, and Ekron and Gath a little further inland, see Josh. 13:3] gathered to offer a great sacrifice to their god (elohim) Dagon [who was worshipped in the Philistine cities, see 1 Sam. 5:2] and to rejoice, saying, "Our god has delivered our enemy Samson into our hands."
