And Hos made a vow [which her husband Elkanah also agreed to, see Num. 30:8] and said: "Lord of hosts (Yahweh Sebaot), if you will indeed look upon the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord (Yahweh) for his entire life, and no razor shall come upon his head."
