First Samuel 15:35

And Samuel never saw Saul again until the day he died, for Samuel mourned (Hebr. aval) for Saul. And the Lord (Yahweh) regretted (mourned-comforted – Hebr. nacham) that he had made Saul king over Israel. [See comment in verse 11.]
