First Samuel 17:11

When Saul and all Israel heard these words from the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.
[The most common attribute used to describe Saul is "very afraid," see 1 Sam. 10:22; 13:7; 15:24; 17:24; 18:12, 15, 29; 22:7–8; 28:5, 20, 21. In comparison, David is mentioned as being afraid twice, of Achish (the king of Gath, see 1 Kings 21:12) and of God (2 Sam. 6:9).]
