Then a spirit (wind) lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord (Yahweh), which faces east, and behold, in the doorway of the gate were 25 men. [During excavations in the City of David in Jerusalem, hundreds of clay seals (Latin: bulla) have been found from the period just before the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC. The names of Jaazaniah and Pelatiah were found among them. The names of Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch have also been found.]
And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Ah (oh no), Lord of lords (Adonai Yahweh), will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?"
