Hananiah

And it came to pass in the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah (Hebr. Tsidqiyahos), king of Judah, in the fourth year, on the fifth day of the month, that Hananiah, the son of Azzur, the prophet from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the Lord (Yahweh) in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying:

But the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah, in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the Lord (Yahweh),

And the prophet Hananiah took the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it.

And Hananiah declared in the presence of all the people, saying, "Thus says the Lord (Yahweh): In this manner, within two years, I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, from the neck of all the nations." And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

And the word of the Lord (Yahweh) came to Jeremiah after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying:

Go and tell Hananiah, saying, 'You have broken the wooden yoke, but in its place you will make an iron yoke.

And the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, "Listen, Hananiah, the Lord (Yahweh) did not send you, and you have made this people believe a lie.

And the prophet Hananiah died that same year in the seventh month [Tishri – Sept/Oct].
