Genesis 38:18

He said, "What pledge shall I give you?" She replied, "Your seal [with Judah's personal stamp], your cord [the braided leather cord on which the seal hung], and the staff you hold in your hand." He gave them to her and went in to her (had sexual relations with her), and she became pregnant by him.
