Isaiah 5:25

Therefore the anger of the Lord (Yahweh) burns against his people
and he has stretched out his hand against them and struck them.
And the mountains shake
and their corpses are like refuse in the midst of their streets.
For all this, his anger is not turned away
but he still stretches out his hand. [This phrase recurs later, see Isa. 9:12, 17, 21; 10:4.]
