Leviticus 22:21

And if anyone wants to offer a shalom offering [Lev. 3:1] to the Lord (Yahweh), either to fulfill a vow or as a voluntary offering, from cattle or sheep, it must be without blemish (Hebr. tamim) to be acceptable (to be pleasing, conditional favor – Hebr. ratson). It must not have any defect (fault, blemish).
