Matthew 21:1

[This event marks the beginning of the last week of Jesus' active ministry. It was spring, and all the Jews were going up to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. Jesus and his disciples also went up. On the way there, they had passed through the region of Pereen east of the Jordan River, and then came to the city of Jericho. They had walked the last stretch towards Jerusalem and were now in the village of Bethphage, which literally means "fig house".]
When they [Jesus, the disciples, and the crowd of people who were on their way to celebrate the Passover] approached Jerusalem and came to [the village] Bethphage near the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples
