Hebrews 11:23

In faith, Moses – who had just been born – was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was a beautiful [little] child [he had inner and outer beauty; literally: "he was from/belonged to a city," i.e., he carried himself elegantly (not uneducated), but also in the sense that he came from a heavenly city], and they were not afraid of the king's [Pharaoh's] decree [to kill all Hebrew newborn boys because they posed a future threat to the Egyptians, see Ex. 1:2, 9, 10; 16; Acts 7:20].
