Judges 2:17

Yet they did not listen to their judges, but instead went after other gods and worshipped them. They were quick to stray from the path their fathers had walked. They [their fathers] listened to the Lord's (Yahweh's) commandments (clear commands – Hebr. mitsvah), but they did not.
