Genesis 6:4

The Nephilim (giants, literally "the fallen ones," or "those who cause others to fall to the earth") existed on earth at that time—and even later—when the sons of God had sexual relations with the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men of old (warriors, heroes – Hebr. gibborim), and their reputation was great.
