Genesis 9:3

Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants [Gen. 1:30], I give you everything.
[The blessing that God gives Noah mirrors the blessing that Adam received in Gen. 1:28. One difference is that sin now exists in the world, and man is no longer to rule over the animals. Instead of voluntary submission, there is now an element of fear in the animals. Although eating meat was previously permitted, e.g. Abel's blood sacrifice was pleasing to God and Noah's clean animals during their years in the ark, it is now a clearly stated permission to use animals for food.]
