Second Samuel 14:7

And now the whole family has risen up against your servant, saying, 'Give us the one who struck his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother whom he struck, and destroy the heir as well. In this way they want to extinguish my spark of life (my coal) that remains [my only hope and light], and leave my husband without a name or memory on the face of the earth."
