Esther 4:16

”Go and gather all the Jews who are in Susa [the Persian capital where they were] and fast [and pray] for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will also fast in the same way. Then I will go to the king, even if it is against the law. If I lose my life, so be it.” [This was fraught with danger to life, see verse 11.]
