Psalms 42:5

Why are you so sad (heavy, bowed down), my soul (my inner being; my whole being – Hebr. nefesh),
why so troubled [like a stormy sea] within me?
Trust (wait actively on, rely, put your hope) in God (Elohim),
for I will once again give thanks to [with open hands – praise, honor, and acknowledge] him,
for salvation (deliverance) that comes through his presence (face).
