Psalms 88:11

Will your mercy (caring love) be recounted in the grave,
your faithfulness in Abaddon (death, the abyss, the place of destruction)?
[The Hebrew word Abaddon is related to the verb to destroy and annihilate and intensifies the destructiveness of death. When someone is placed in a grave, the body disappears, it decays. See also Prov 27:20; Job 26:6; Rev 9:11.]
