Song of Solomon 2:8

[In the second section of the book (verses 8-17), the young man comes to the woman's home and invites her to accompany him to the countryside. This has its parallel in the penultimate section, where it is the woman who wants to invite the man out, see Song 7:12–8:4. The passage consists of three parts: the woman's description of the man's invitation, the man's invitation, and a concluding refrain describing how they belong together.]
Hear the voice of my beloved (darling),
see someone coming,
leaping and skipping over the mountains,
running over the hills.
