Jeremiah 1:17

Now prepare yourself [Jeremiah] to act (gird up your clothes)! Go to them [your countrymen in Judah] and speak all that I command you to say. Do not be afraid of their looks (how their faces look when you speak God's words), for I will give you good reason to be afraid of them (they will mock and break you down).
