Ezekiel 47:8

He said to me:
"These two waters (the two streams – Hebr. majim) flow eastward through the land and then descend into the desert (Hebr. Arava) [the Judean desert east of Jerusalem]. When they then flow into the sea [the Dead Sea] – where the water is stagnant – it becomes fresh (healed).
[Today, there are no fish or other living creatures in the Dead Sea due to its high mineral content.]
