Therefore, thus says the Lord of lords (Adonai Yahweh): Because you have surpassed the countries around you in not walking according to my decrees (literally "things engraved") and have not done (followed) my statutes (binding legal decisions) and the statutes (binding legal decisions) of the nations around you, you have not done so either.
