Daniel 11:31

Armies from him [the northern king, Antiochus IV] will come, and they will defile the sanctuary, the place of refuge, abolish the daily sacrifice, and set up the abomination of desolation. [A pagan object in the temple, see Matt. 24:15; Mark 13:14. This is also mentioned in 1 Macc 1:44-47, 54.]
