Leviticus 10:2

And fire came forth from the Lord (Yahweh) and consumed them, and they died before the Lord (Yahweh).
[The exact transgression is not specified, but Ex. 30:9 forbids offering strange incense (Hebr. ketoret zarah). This was incense that was not prepared in the proper manner, see Ex. 30:34–38. Another suggestion is that they offered it at the wrong time, see Ex. 30:7–8. This event is certainly the basis for the statement in Heb. 12:29.]
