Mark 10:20

Then he answered him, "Teacher, I have kept all these things wholeheartedly (guarded) since I was young."
[He believed he had kept the commandments ever since he became morally competent, which was at the age of thirteen. In today's Judaism, this occurs at the bar mitzvah, which means becoming a "son of the commandment." That Zechariah and Elizabeth followed the Lord's commandments and precepts is referred to as something positive in Luke 1:6. In Matt. 19:20, it is also apparent that the man feels that something is missing. The question he seems to be asking is why he has not yet found peace in his heart, even though he has tried to keep all the commandments.]
