Luke 16:2

called the steward to him and said, "What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship [of my affairs], for you can no longer be [my] steward."[The rumor that the steward was living in luxury in an unrighteous manner had reached the owner. In addition to the money that had been embezzled, the steward had caused his master to lose his reputation. In this culture, honor was more important than money. That he had entrusted his stewardship to a potential thief damaged his reputation and was a great shame.]
