John 12:12

[John seems to imply that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the 10th of Nisan, the day when the head of the household chose and publicly displayed the lamb that would be this year's Passover lamb, see Ex. 12:3–6. The heavenly Father shows the world the Lamb of God – the lamb that will take away the sin of the world, see John 1:29.]
