John 18:1

When Jesus had said this [spoken the prayer in chapter 17 aloud], he went out with his disciples [from Jerusalem] to the other side of the brook Kidron [the Kidron Valley (Hebrew: nachal Qidron) east of Jerusalem]. There was a garden there [Gethsemane, see Matt. 26:36; Mark 14:32] which he and his disciples entered.
