Romans 5:15

[Now follow six comparisons between the result of Adam's transgression and the result of the restoration that Jesus brings. The argument in verses 15-21 follows the Jewish form qal vahomer, an argument from lesser to greater ("how much more").]
The transgression (the fall) cannot be compared to the free gift (Gk. charisma). [Adam's fall is disproportionately small in comparison to God's great grace.]
For if the many [all] died through the transgression (sin; misstep, fall) of one,
how much more has God's grace and the free gift,
through one man, Jesus the Anointed One (Messiah, Christ),
abundantly come to many.
