When that which is perishable
has put on imperishability,
and that which was mortal
has put on immortality,
then it shall be as it is written:
"Death is swallowed up in victory!" [Isa. 25:8]

ὅταν   δὲ   τὸ   φθαρτὸν   τοῦτο   ἐνδύσηται   ἀφθαρσίαν   καὶ   τὸ   θνητὸν   τοῦτο   ἐνδύσηται   ἀθανασίαν,   τότε   γενήσεται   ὁ   λόγος   ὁ   γεγραμμένος·   κατεπόθη   ὁ   θάνατος   εἰς   νῖκος.
