First letter to the Corinthians 15:53

[The second paragraph, verses 53-54b, revolves around the words perishable/imperishable and mortal/immortal.]
For this perishable [our body that decays]
must put on imperishability [divine nature],
and the mortal
must put on immortality (freedom from death).
