Second letter to Timothy 4:11

Luke is the only one who remains with me.
[Luke was with Paul even during his first imprisonment in Rom, see Col. 4:14; Philem 1:24.] Bring Mark here with you,
he is very useful to me in my ministry.
[John Mark traveled with Paul and Barnabas, but he broke off the journey in Perga, see Acts 13:13. There has been a reconciliation, and Paul speaks well of him here. He was with Paul even during his first imprisonment, see Col. 4:10.]
