James 4:8

Draw near to God,
and he will draw near to you. [Matt. 7:7]
[The meaning is to reflexively draw oneself very close. Here, the Greek has an actively ongoing verb form.]
Clean your hands [actions], you sinners,
and purify your hearts [purify your inner life, sanctify your way of thinking], you double-minded (indecisive, divided – literally: "two-souled") [who love God and at the same time follow your own desires].
