But leave out the outer court of the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles, and they will trample (occupy) the holy city [Jerusalem] under their feet for forty-two months [which corresponds to 3.5 years, see also Dan. 7:25; 12:7; 12:11–12].
