First Samuel 5:11

So they sent for and gathered together the leaders of the Philistines, and they said, "Send away the ark of the God (Elohim) of Israel, and let it return to its place, so that it does not slaughter us and our people," for a deadly plague was rampant throughout the city, and the hand of God (Elohim) was very heavy there.
