Aaron married Elisheva, daughter of Amminadav and sister of Nachshon, and she bore him:
Nadav and Avihu,
Elazar and Itamar.
From Judah (hebr. Jehuda): Nahshon, son of Amminadab.
Those who now camp on the east side, toward the sunrise,
shall be those in the camp who belong to the banner of Judah, according to their divisions.
The leader of the sons of Judah is Nahshon, the son of Amminadab,

And the one who presented his offering on the 1th day was Nahshon, son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah.
and for the peace offering (communion offering) [Lev. 3:1–17] 2 cattle, 5 rams, 5 male goats, 5 one-year-old male lambs. This was the offering of Nahshon, son of Amminadab.
And first under their banner (standard) marched the camp of the sons of Judah in their order of battle, and over his army was Nahshon, son of Amminadab.

[Salmah and Salmon in the next verse are the same person. In the NT the Greek variant Salmon is used in Matt. 1:4–5 (in 1 Chron. 2:11 Salma is used). The name means to cover or a garment. The root of the word is closely related to the word shalom which means peace. Salmon married Rahab (Rachav), a Gentile from Jericho, see Josh. 2, about 1400 BC.]
Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah.
