Second Chronicles 20:21

After consulting with the people, he appointed singers to praise the Lord (Yahweh) in sacred attire as they went out before the armed army. They were to sing:
"Give thanks [with open hands—praise, honor, and acknowledge] to the Lord (Yahweh),
for his mercy (caring, faithful love) endures forever (eternally)."
