Second Kings 10:5

And the one in charge of the palace (literally: 'over the house') [the royal palace in Samaria] and the governor of (literally: 'those who were over') the city and the elders and guardians [who raised and educated the king's sons, see verse 1] sent word to Jehu, saying "We are your servants and will do whatever you ask us to do; we will not make any man king. Do whatever is good in your eyes."
