Psalms 7:8

It is the Lord (Yahweh) who rules over the nations.
Judge me [now], Lord (Yahweh), according to my righteousness, according to my integrity.
[David does not claim to be without sin, but he is innocent of the accusations made by his enemies. David is on the run and seeking refuge, see verse 2. The psalm also alludes to the principle of the six cities of refuge where one could flee to receive a just judgment, see Num. 35. God was David's safe refuge from his enemies, and he desires God to render a just judgment.]
