Lamentations 1:21

They [my enemies] have heard my groaning and sighing,
there is no one to comfort me.
All my enemies have heard of my affliction
and rejoice, because you have done it.
May you bring the day you have proclaimed,
when they [my enemies] will be like me [suffering the corresponding wrath].
[The twenty-first Hebrew letter is: ש – shin. The character depicts two teeth, and often symbolizes crushing and destroying something. In this verse, it is the word "They have heard" that begins with this letter. It reinforces both one's own torment and the desire for the same punishment to befall the enemy.]
