Mark 3:6

The Pharisees went out and immediately began to make plans with the Herodians [who sympathized with and supported Herod Antipas and the Roman government] on how they could kill Jesus.
[They were filled with darkness and murderous intent. Immediately after Jesus asked whether it was right to save lives or destroy lives, see verse 4, they went away and planned how to kill Jesus.]
