Luke 6:30

To everyone who asks you, give!
[Greek here, as in verse 29, has Jesus' exhortation at the end of the sentence. Give to everyone who asks or requests something, but not always everything they ask for, see 2 Thess 3:6–13; Phil. 1:9–11; 1 John 4:1; 2 John 1:10–11.]
And if anyone takes [steals – literally: lifts/carries away] what is yours,
[then] do not demand it back [from him]."
