John 2:10

and said to him, "Everyone else serves the best wine first, and when the guests begin to get drunk, they serve the inferior wine, but you have saved the best wine until now!" [In Jewish culture, wine was an important part of celebrations, but since drunkenness was considered shameful, wine was often mixed with water to reduce the alcohol content.]
